Minladar Engmany wins Miss Congeniality Award at Miss International Queen 2022 in Bangkok

The Ms International Queen Laos 2022, Minladar Engmany, won the Miss Congeniality Award at the final round of the Ms International Queen 2022 contest at Pattaya in Thailand on Saturday night.
Ms Fuschia Anne Ravena from the Philippines won the most well known international transgender beauty pageant after answering a question about how she would promote the importance of equality in society.
Ms Minladar was able to become friends with contestants from 23 countries from around the world while participating in the contest.
She was the first plus-size contestant from Laos to join the Ms International Queen pageant and showcased her abilities, talent and confident at a competition outside the country, while also promoting Laos and its culture.
Ms Minladar faced some bullying from people in the country and on social media about her appearance and her body, and was a little sad about all the complaining. She tried to move on from all this, and used her abilities, especially her English and Chinese  speaking skills, to communicate with the other contestants and introduce them to Laos and its culture.
She also used her national costume to promote Lao culture on the international stage.
During an interview with the Thai media, she spoke about her ability to speak with other contestants in different languages. She thanked members of her Thai fan club for supporting her.
She said she appreciated receiving the Miss Congeniality Award, and added that joining such an international competition had long been a dream for her.
Ms Jasmine Jimenez from Colombia was the first runner-up, while Aela Chanel from France was the second runner-up.
The special awards were presented to the contestants at the final round of the competition.
The contestant from Japan received the Best National Costume award, the contestant from Thailand received the Best in Evening Gown award, the contestant from Cambodia received the Miss Photogenic award, the contestant from India received the Most Popular Vote award and the contestant from Vietnam received the Best Talent award.
